We're pleased to announce Bewl's Open water swimming is returning for New Years Day 2026! Enjoy a 60 minute dip,splash or swim to kickstart your year off in the right direction! Enjoy a complimentory coffee and cake on us from our Boathouse Bistro at the end of your session. Open water swimming at Bewl Water is more than just an opportunity to cool off and enjoy a refreshing dip. With its numerous health benefits offering swimmers an enhanced sense of wellbeing, open water swimming provides a full body workout in a natural setting, promoting cardiovascular health, muscle strength, and mental clarity. The outdoor environment also boosts mood and reduces stress, making it an attractive way to exercise, bringing benefits to both body and mind.
*Please note, the minimum age is 14 years old. Anyone under the age of 18, must be accompanied by an adult on the water.
** Tow Floats and brightly coloured swim caps are mandatory. You must bring your own, or hire a tow float in advance through our booking system. (Pease note, we only have a limited number of tow floast available for hire)
